Silkote 90 is a hydraulically bonded, high alumina, induction furnace coil screed.
Silkote 90 is a fine, air setting cement used to coat coil turns of induction furnace. This presents a smooth surface to the slip plane medium in order to allow uninhibited expansion and contraction of the working lining. Capscreed also offers a degree of protection to the coil in the event of molten metal contact.
ADVANTAGE :
Hydraulically bonded, high alumina induction furnace coil screed that allows for a slightly higher surface temperature than Capscreed.
