CRL 65 is a dry, mullite forming ramming mix based on specially selected high purity raw materials to give optimum performance with excellent resistance to chemical attack, mechanical damage and thermal shock.
This family of materials in designed for use in coreless induction furnaces for the melting of irons, steels and copper based alloys, Because of its flexibility of application, CRL 65 is of particular interest for iron/steel mixed melting programmes (max 25% steel).
Due to very dense surface, the cleaning of the furnace is very easy and extended campaigns are achievable.
