The sand slag come from Pumice stone, emery, natural corundum, natural garnet and other natural abrasives, whether or not heat - treated. It’s application for slag off from the molten metal to clean it from the oxide that related to the slag inclusion and gas problem in the casting.
We put it on top of molten metal to react with the contaminate (Oxide) then take out from the furnace or ladle. The sand slag no.3 is suitable for high temperature melting such as steel casting and steel shot production.
