Procarb 99 is a process carbon where fine particles of calcined petroleum coke are mixed with a binder and water then roll to produce the round characteristic shape and then dried. The procarb is in the form of individual round pieces then vary from a few millimeters up to 15 millimeters diameter, the exact distribution cannot be pre-determined.The procarb is an advantage on the original pellets in that they become absorb more easily. The procarb is not compressed together and therefore the product breaks down easier and absorbed quicker.
